A Bug’s Life

With my recent entry into the world of fatherhood, my free time has been justifiably tied up with taking care of my beautiful little boy and his tirelessly diligent mother. As a result, I haven’t been able to get away from the house for many non-baby-related photography events in recent weeks.

However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t capitalized on the opportunities I have come across to sneak over to our nearby pond with my macro lenses. Our little watershed in the middle of the city is a veritable nature preserve for creatures of all shapes and sizes, and a perfect place to capture life in miniature when I only have brief windows of time to do so.
